Well you've
convinced yourself wrong.
It's not the end.
Pick yourself up.
Why do you think
Jesus Christ died on the cross that day?
Giving up all the
glory He freely deserved to be tortured by
His creation.
He got up from His
throne in the highest place of Heaven, & descended to Hell.
He experienced
immense pain until His flesh could take no more.
People saw Him as
a failure, as blasphemous, as a criminal.
On a piece of wood
He took his last breathe..
It solely was for
every bad thing you've ever done.
It was so you
could be forgiven, so you didn't have to waver in your sin.
It was all for
you.
And now, here you
are, trying to convince yourself that He did all that for nothing.
That you're able to commit a sin so great the God of the universe can't even
forgive..
You know the
feeling of guilt, you know how it hurts to think about the sin you just
committed.
It makes you feel
so far away from God, so yucky & 'urgh’.
Sometimes, you may
even feel like you don't deserve to live anymore..
You know you can
be forgiven, but you feel so tainted you just can't ask for it.
It ruins the rest
of your life for a certain amount of time.
During this phase, you're unable to
enjoy life as it was before.
What if I told you
that behind all this darkness, there's a light.
There's real
pleasure, happiness, joy.
It's right there,
you can grab it this instant.
You didn't know
right?
Sin immobilizes us.
It traps us in our
guilt.
It deceives us.
Convinces us that there's no hope.
It tells a lie
that seems so true.
All you have to do
is look past this sin.
See that the
Creator already has His arms opened wide for you, waiting for your return.
Don't believe the
lie of your sin being so great He'll never forgive you. He's already done so.
Accept the
forgiveness, feel the hope & freedom.
Run into His arms,
feel the warm embrace.
Know that He still
loves you, that what happened is the past now.
Sincerely say
sorry.
You'll instantly feel
so much lighter, so free.
You're eyes will
be opened to how colourful your life is once again.
That's so much
better than the feeling of guilt right?
No matter how
great a sin you've committed or how bad your past may be, you've been
forgiven.
Now it's up to you
to accept it, or to continue to fight your guilt by yourself.
You
know, every time you sin, it can either pull you down, or bring you
up.
When you sin, you
have a choice.
To either be
convinced that you're no better than what you've done, or to see that you've
been made so much more because of what He's done.
Lingering around
your guilt will only trap you inside a hole. It'll brew your guilt into more
sin. It'll discolour your life; ruin the purpose you were made for.
Whereas picking yourself up will make you stronger, help you build on your flaws. It will actually make you feel refreshed, ready to live your life in the most purposeful way you can.
Whereas picking yourself up will make you stronger, help you build on your flaws. It will actually make you feel refreshed, ready to live your life in the most purposeful way you can.
It's up to you.
Godbless~
