The Drag of Life

Since school is now completely underway, I noticed I haven't had much time & motivation to have the enjoyment of writing to you guys.
With all the homework, new things to learn, & commitments out of school, I've found myself relaxing & doing nothing whenever I get the a chance to do so.

It seems like all the business of life may have gotten the best of me, that it may be steering my life. And I know for certain that's not meant to happen.

God most definitely didn't create work so that He could create people to do the work.

He creates work for us, because He saw it as good for us.

Sometimes we may feel like we have too much work to do. That it's just so impossible to finish.
Work will seem like the worse part of life at those times.
We may even unwillingly spend every minute of our time doing work at those times just cause we have to.

Maybe we have brought too much work on ourselves. We could be committing to too much. Maybe to earn more money or to gain more experience. As with nearly everything, too much can be bad. It applies to work too.

We were made to work, but when it starts having control of our lives. When we have no choice to do anything else but work, there's definitely a problem here.
God is pleased when we work hard for His glory. But at the same time, He knows that we have limits & enjoys when we take a break from a hard day's work to enjoy the wonderful life He's given us.

On the other hand, sometimes getting caught up in a huge workload can't be helped. We may be asked to constantly work overtime by our bosses, we may be given chunks of homework & assignments by our teachers, our parents may be giving us lots of chores to do.
We end up having to stress through it all, without being given the choice to drop some of the duties we're given.

Stay on top of it.
When we're given something huge to do, alot of the time, our first reaction is a lack of confidence with completing the task. Well I assure you, with tasks like these, no matter how hard they may seem, we have been given the strength to work hard & finish them. If we approach the task confidently & joyfully, I'm sure you'll have a less stressful time & will probably even enjoy doing it.

Remember that it's made for you.
Work has been specifically made by God for our enjoyment, growth & purpose. In the midst of a huge project or assignment, we may end up laying down everything we have just to get the task done. We may lose sleep, we may skip meals, we may even forget about God. It may seem at times like these that work is our master. But remember, you are the master. Work was made for you. So you have most definitely been made in such a way that makes you able to control your work instead of it being the other way round.

Remember the core purpose.
Work is given by God so that we may constantly push ourselves to step out of our comfort zones & experience His provision & grace.
Keeping that in mind, when we work hard, not only are we pleasing God, but we're also maturing & growing spiritually.

As we continue to work hard in our lives, I pray that we may do so purposefully, joyfully, & willingly.

Godbless~
