Perfection of Sin

A sinless world.
It sounds like the ideal world to be in. The terrors we see all over the world everyday, the unending struggles we have with our flesh, & the emptiness in our hearts are just a few of the devastating effects of it. All of it gone? Couldn't possibly get any better.

But lately, I've had some thought about it.
While struggling with my own sinful desires - while sinning, I've been reminded of one thing.
It goes along the lines of "if evil didn't exist in the first place, how would we have ever known God's grace?"

The question then arises, "in an ideal world, one without sin, would the grace of God be necessary?"

God's grace is the core of our hope.
But this hope we have is only necessary because we became hopeless in the first place.
So is it really ideal that we never became hopeless in the first place?

I think not.

In the ideal world, God would be present.
Since God is love, love would then overflow in this ideal world.

But what is love?
I believe that a really important aspect of love comes from loving unconditionally - the positive affection despite all negativity.

So really, without sin, evil, & suffering in this world, we would never have been able to see the extent of what love is, who God is, & we would miss this hidden beauty behind it all.

I honestly haven't found as much joy in my life as turning to God after I fall, & letting Him pick me up despite the many times I've previously ran away from Him. Without sin, there would never be the joy from God's redemption~

Sin gives us a glimpse of God's perfection.
All the results of sin we see around us, the suffering, hatred, lies, are all what we would consider imperfect. But still, the perfect God allowed it all into this world & through all this imperfection, He had the perfect plan for us all - our salvation. God was able to use a world infested with sin & turned it into something so perfect~
Not only does it emphasize God's perfection, it really shows us the LORD's sovereignty as well. The pure & holy God touching down on something so filthy & using it for His perfect plan~

Sin reveals to us our need for God.

Without sin, we would never be able to realize how weak & pathetic we are compared to the one great God. Our knowledge of sin sometimes even humbles us in this way.
Ultimately, once we realize how sinful we are, we have a need inside of us for a remedy - a solution that is out of our grasp & far greater than us, which can only be found in Him. One that cleans us, frees us, & makes us better.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not promoting sin in any way. I'm not trying to tell you that the more you sin, the more you can experience God's grace & somehow grow in Him better.
What I am saying is that sin is necessary for us to experience God's grace, & once we have accepted it, the absence of sin will compliment nicely with God's holiness, giving us a greater understanding of who He is. His grace will also grow in us, giving us the strength & will to stay away from sin~

I also hope this may be an encouragement to you, if you're in the midst of pain, sorrow, addiction or many of the effects of sin - it isn't as bad as it looks. Your struggles are your chance to admit you need Him, to let Him save you & for you to experience the everlasting joy He's promised.
It doesn't matter how many times you've fallen, He's always willing to pick you up, to stand by you & help you the next time you're facing the same struggles all over again.
All you need to do is submit to Him.

Until next time,
Godbless~
