The Ideal World

I'm sure at some point, we've desired for an 'Ideal World'.
Ideally, "I would be able to do this", "this would happen this way", "the world would be like this".

For many of us though, we picture an ideal world to be one without pain & suffering. One where everyone is at peace, there are no conflicts, no diseases or sicknesses, no natural disasters. Everyone would live a cherishing life & return to the grave happily - or even not at all.
There would be no stress in our daily lives - we would live happily ever after~

'The Ideal World'.
That's what we all picture when we think of the absence of pain & suffering.
But would it really be like that?
- could it stay like that?

There would be no questions asked - as there wouldn't be anything to question 'cause everything would just be so perfect. We really wouldn't even need God as everything is so great, including us - we'd be our own gods, proud & arrogant. Our only purpose would be to acquire things from the world, money, fame, & power - which we all know, eventually leaves one empty.

We could never maintain such a world.
Eventually we would choose to be greedy, violent, hateful out of our own pride. We'd end up choosing all the 'pain & suffering' we wished to go away. We are the cause~

We as humans are destined to be away from 'The Ideal World'.

There is no 'Ideal World' for us.
We are who we are, there is no denying it.
The broken, the struggling, the haters, the lairs, the despairing, the rebels, the lost.

So if our so called 'ideal world' really wouldn't work, but at the same time, the world we see it as now is totally not ideal, then what is ideal?

I'm pretty sure that for many of us that have gone through 'pain & suffering', looking back now, you may actually be grateful for it, the ideal thing actually happened because of it.

You may have learnt important life lessons, you may have learnt to perceive things in better ways you weren't able to before, you may have become a stronger person overall as a result. But undeniably - pain made you better at the end of the day.

Why is that though?

It's because we need a God.
All the results of sin we see around us produce a desperate need for God within us. When we realize how weak & fragile we are when we struggle - that's when we see our full potential because of Him.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

We need to be weak.
Think about this:

A world where everyone has been torn apart by their struggles. Everyone can only but acknowledge how weak they are, they've all been humbled. They can't take advantage of one another, they all just want a way out. They seek see one who is somehow greater, can somehow save them from this strong wave of destruction that is slowly drowning & killing them.

And to their surprise. There is a God all along who is so great, great enough to help them through what seemed like the greatest struggles. There is a God that even bothered to save them. There is a God that loves despite how undeserving they are.
This is Grace.

Yes, this is the picture of The Ideal World.

A world where we are all trapped in a struggle we cannot escape & we call out to a God so great, so powerful that is able to help us overcome.

A world where we have come to the knowledge that we are weak, & that we are in need of Him.

A world He has chosen to love.

We are in it right now & the choice is ours.
Until next time,

Godbless~
